Here are some comments about the FINE for School program, from the parents of the children who attended FINE for School in Term 3, 2015:
* I just love the change in my daughter from not being interested at all, to being totally engrossed! I love the concept of the program and specifically, I love that only one letter per week is implemented so that it is not too overwhelming.
I really enjoy seeing all the new ideas to teach how to write the letters properly before any bad habits are learned and I think one of the best things that came from the program in lesson one was perfect pencil grip using the trick of placing the pen facing the child and using their ‘pinchy fingers’ to pick it up - AMAZING!
* We are both absolutely loving the program! She showed very little interest in numbers, letters and sounds and it was getting to the point where I was actually stressing myself out that I wasn’t teaching her properly, or that I was doing something wrong as a Mum that she just wasn't interested. Since being enrolled in the program, she is actually picking out and recognising the letters and sounds and is finding the learning experience both in class and at home much more enjoyable. Her teachers at preschool cannot believe the difference in her attention and her interest levels. After one class at FINE for school she came bounding into pre school and exclaimed to her teacher “I can write an ‘a’!” She is just loving the experience.
* The different ways you teach makes it so easy for the kids to learn. It is a perfect program to get ready for school.
* I enjoy interacting with my child and watching him learn. It is great for school readiness and confidence.
* I enjoy being able to see my child improve in their learning and being part of the process. I highly recommend as the activities are not done at preschool and it is great for helping with handwriting.
* A fantastic, fun and educational program which my daughter looks forward to each week. Can't recommend enough.
