Policies and Procedures
ENROLMENT FORMS
You will receive a membership form on enrolment. It is a legal requirement that you complete this form before your child begins classes.
ABSENCES & FEES POLICY
If your child is absent, they can have a make up lesson. Full payment for the term is required prior to your second lesson. FINE for School does not offer refunds for missed lessons.
If your child is unwell, it is best to stay home. We have the right to refuse participation if children have an infectious or contagious condition. Please be considerate when deciding whether your child should attend as resources are shared and we want to prevent contagious illness.
RESPECT FOR LEARNING
As the lesson structure consists of short, sharp learning episodes, we ask that parents do not talk about social events during lessons. Please keep social discussion for before or after the classes.
FOOD & HEALTH POLICY
No food is permitted in FINE for School classes. Water is the only beverage to be consumed. Hands must be washed with soap prior to commencing lessons.
PARTICIPATION POLICY
Parents/Carers must stay for the full duration of the lessons. You are the best role models for your child, so it is important to participate enthusiastically, with great interest and engagement. This will include singing songs, participating in finger puppet plays, responding to stories plus lots of other fun activities. Your enjoyment will be noticed by your child. It is important to be patient with your child’s development and offer encouragement and positive reassurance.
SIBLINGS
To ensure your child gets the most out of the Fine for School program, the enrolled child requires your undivided attention. Some of the resources are not suitable for children under 3 years old. Therefore for safety reasons, siblings are not permitted to attend as they are not insured.
